The Baseline Pistol course is the perfected starting point for building your handgun fundamentals. This pistol course focuses on marksmanship essentials, real-world application, and building confidence through hands-on, professional instruction. Learning to self-diagnose and correct shooting errors gives you the tools to continually improve long after the course entirely on your own. This course covers: - fundamentals of shooting pistol - isolation of fundamentals - pistol manipulation - pistol shooting drills - reloading fundamentals - importance of grip and bone support - proper utilization of sight alignment and sight picture - draw and retention from OWB/IWB holsters - weapons conditions - safety conditions - strong and support side shooting - common pistol malfunctions After you purchase this course, an CDG firearms instructor will contact you via email approximately two weeks from the course date with pre-course details and provide you with an exact location for the training. All course dates are subject to change due to instructor deployment requirements. Minimum Gear Requirements: - OWB (Outside the waistband) or IWB (Inside the waistband) Holster - Reliable and sturdy EDC (everyday carry) belt - At least 1 magazine holder - 3 magazines - Reliable EDC Pistol - 600-700 rounds of ammunition (available for purchase on-site) - Ear & Eye Protection - Permanent Marker - Appropriate Clothing for Range - Close toed shoes - Weapons maintenance & cleaning equipment Course Duration: - Estimated 8 hours - Lunch provided
