The Baseline Carbine Course is designed to deliver a professional, results-driven foundation in marksmanship. This carbine training course equips students with a framework to maximize their skills and training, focusing on the fundamentals needed for precision and consistency. In this carbine class, shooters develop a deep understanding of essential techniques and learn to self-diagnose their performance for continuous improvement. Perfect for civilians and professionals, this carbine course is a must for anyone serious about mastering their carbine. This course covers: - fundamentals of shooting rifle - isolation of fundamentals - weapons conditions for rifle - understanding the cycle of operations in a rifle - shooting positions - mechanical offsets - common rifle malfunction / immediate actions and remedial actions - optic and co-witness BUIS considerations - strong and support side shooting - rifle shooting drills - movement during engagements - reloading fundamentals for rifle - shooting from cover - sling manipulation - multiple engagement techniques - close and midrange engagements After you purchase this course, an CDG firearms instructor will contact you via email approximately two weeks from the course date with pre-course details and provide you with an exact location for the training. All course dates are subject to change due to instructor deployment requirements. Minimum Gear Requirements: - Rifle - 600-700 rounds of rifle ammunition - Rifle sling - At least 3 rifle magazines - Belt /Chest Rig - At least 1 magazine holder for rifle magazines - Ear & Eye Protection - Permanent Marker - Appropriate Clothing for terrain and Weather - Weapons maintenance & cleaning equipment - Food & Water OPTIONAL: - Pistol for MAN CARD - Plate carrier - Chest rig - Weapons Lights - Batteries - First Aid - Gloves - Note taking gear, etc
