The Advanced Performance Pistol Course offers expert pistol training focused on refining marksmanship fundamentals and optimizing efficiency in motion. Building on our Baseline Courses, this program emphasizes disciplined execution, performance on demand, and strategies to improve through targeted training drills. Students will push beyond their comfort zones to develop speed, accuracy, and weapon manipulation skills. Designed as a mobility-intensive pistol course, participants should be prepared for a physically engaging experience. This training equips shooters with the tools and knowledge to become confident, proficient, and adaptable with their weapon system. Performance > confidence. This course covers: - how to quantify skills and abilities - confirmation levels - shooter diagnosis refinement - predictive vs reactive shooting - shot calling - information processing efficiency - blending movements & confirmation ranges - building success metrics - awareness training - performance on demand application - speed building - precision muscle development - target priority theory - cognitive speed processes - environmental safety - engagement speed development - multiple target engagement * This course requires shooters to be confident in their shooting and physical abilities. After you purchase this course, an CDG firearms instructor will contact you via email approximately two weeks from the course date with pre-course details and provide you with an exact location for the training. All course dates are subject to change due to instructor deployments requirements. Minimum Gear Requirements: - OWB (Outside the waistband) or IWB (Inside the waistband) Holster - Reliable and sturdy EDC (everyday carry) or duty belt - At least 2 magazine holders - At least 3 magazines - Reliable Pistol - 800 rounds of ammunition - Ear & Eye Protection - Permanent Marker - Appropriate Clothing for Range - Weapons maintenance & cleaning equipment - Food & Water
